Course Description

This MHFA course is based on the international MHFA Guidelines. Mental health first aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, or who is in a mental health crisis. This course provides knowledge of mental illnesses and the most appropriate first aid strategies. Participants will gain confidence in providing first aid to individuals with a mental health problem.

Workshop Attendance

There is a compulsory face-to-face workshop component of this course. Students must attend a face-to-face assessment to be assessed in practical aspects of the course curriculum.
